The SH-Volatil Amin column is designed specifically for analyzing volatile amines in difficult matrices, such as water. The unique deactivation creates an exceptionally inert surface for these compounds, resulting in highly symmetrical peaks for low detection limits. The stable bonded phase ensures a robust column that can withstand repeated water injections while providing high selectivity and retention of all volatile amines including free ammonia, and other amines up to C16. Temperature range: -60 to 290C. Similar to Agilent CP-Volamine.
